We are seeking a financial accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be part qualified or working towards their accountancy qualification.

Role responsibilities

• Monthly accounts preparation and yearly audit file preparation
• Manage the fianance team, ensuring timely reports
• Monthly review of debtors/creditors
• Cash flow and supplier payments
• Revenue Returns (PAYE, VAT, CT)
• Review of overheads
• Other daily accounting requests from general manager
• Oversee bimonthly payrolll
• Some HR work

Candidate Requirements

• Part qualified or working towards qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)
• Experience working within a busy finance department
• Sound knowledge of MS Excel and previous experience with financial systems such as Sage accounts production/50 and collsoft payroll
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexibly, on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Experience in Revenue returns
• Payroll Experience advantageous but not essential
